This four-week introductory coding course is designed for kids ages 7–12 who are curious about how technology works, no screens required! Through games, puzzles, storytelling, and creative challenges, kids will discover the logic and thinking behind coding in a fun, low-pressure environment.

By the end of July, every student will have a deeper understanding of what code is, how it shapes our world, and they’ll have even designed their own game using coding concepts. No prior experience needed — just curiosity!

Benis Munezero

 

Benis Menezero is a coding instructor who brings both technical expertise and genuine enthusiasm to every class. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Towson University and is passionate about making coding accessible and empowering for all learners.


Growing up in a big family, Benis developed a natural gift for connection and collaboration, qualities that shine through in his teaching style. When he’s not working, you’ll likely find him on the soccer field or planning his next adventure abroad. His love of travel keeps him curious, adaptable, and full of stories to share.
