Catonsville Emergency Assistance
Join us on Saturday, November 23rd for activities to raise awareness about food insecurity in Catonsville and express our gratitude to CEA.
Noon - 2 pm
Join the Creative Psychological Health Services team for an afternoon of gratitude. We will read The Thankful Book by Todd Parr and make pumpkins of gratitude. Our time together will focus on appreciating the little things in life through highlighting the many reasons to feel thankful.
2 pm - 4 pm
We will be reading the classic story, Stone Soup, and playing Peaceable Kingdom's Stone Soup Board Game where players work together to “cook” a soup by making matches of ingredients before the fire goes out. Kids work together, they help each other, and they practice just what the Stone Soup story is all about – cooperation!
4 pm - 7 pm
Start looking under the couch cushions! It's time for Spare Change Bingo! Let's see if we can fill a 5-gallon water jug with coins. Bring as much or as little as your piggy bank holds as your "entry fee." We will play a variety of Bingo games with prizes donated by Better World Imaginarium and our sponsor State Farm Insurance Agent Cyndi Kuhn. We will have some snacks and drinks, but feel free to carry-in or order food to be delivered and make it a night!
